Some children in our class made some fantastic creations with the shapes and blocks. Everyone in our class thought that Ben, Quinn, Thomas, Henry and Prisha were so clever and that their creations were so colourful!

Middle Syndicate Technology Challenge
On Friday of Week 3 the middle syndicate had a technology challenge. We were put into teams of three and we had 40 minutes to design and build a stretcher strong enough to carry 3kgs of potatoes.
The materials we had were :
24 large sheets of newspaper
4 metres of string
1 small roll of cellotape
It was a great exercise in learning to work as a team and in developing our communication skills. We learnt a lot about how strong we needed to make the stretcher and what the weaknesses were.
As a class we concluded that Henry, Anna and Levi's was the most successful with Yievy, Allan and Parmida's coming a close second.
