First we sketched our poppies on draft A4 paper. We then needed to transfer this sketch onto some A3 paper. Mrs Hanson taught us how to fold both our A3 and A4 pieces of paper into quarters. We then sketched our poppies again onto the A3 paper by looking at the corresponding quarter on the A4 paper. This helped us to get our proportions correct.
After sketching we painted the background and then the poppies.
